What Are The Dimensions of Acoustical Shells?

Posted by Shalina Wozny on Apr 24, 2019 11:00:00 AM

We receive request for quotes all the time asking for acoustical shells/band shells/music shells, whichever area you need these clarity enforcing shells for your performances. Knowing the dimension, especially the width of acoustical shells, will help determine how many you will need in the back of your stage setup. Another important note is that the shells can be curved inward into a V shape in order to fit more acoustical shells in the stage setup. A straight line across the back of the stage works as well.

To help answer the first question we need answered to provide you a quote, we have our acoustical shells dimensions below with recommendations for how many you might need based on your space.

Disclaimer: These are just the ones that have sparked my attention and that seem pretty popular either for their long history in broadway or a push to produce a broadway version.

Fundraising Ideas

Since you are probably working with a group of students or a music-minded community that needs to raise money for equipment or a trip you all are taking - a group event is the best way to go to fundraise. It allows you to entertain others and show off your group's skills. I think most people are more likely to pay for an event to be entertained, rather than pay for a raffle or t-shirt that they've done many times before.

The Benefits of Community Groups: 101

Posted by Shalina Wozny on Oct 10, 2018 2:30:00 PM

Many of my peers in the mid-20s age group notice having a hard time making friends. When we were in school, we had an automatic community of people we saw every day. Now in jobs, we have a group of people we interact with and connect with week to week.
