I have to fangirl a little bit over these broadway plays/musicals. Some have recently come out in 2019 and others seem to be coming back for a revival - either on broadway or other media platform versions. Disclaimer: These are just the ones that have sparked my attention and that seem pretty popular either for their long history in broadway or a push to produce a broadway version.
Since you are probably working with a group of students or a music-minded community that needs to raise money for equipment or a trip you all are taking - a group event is the best way to go to fundraise. It allows you to entertain others and show off your group's skills. I think most people are more likely to pay for an event to be entertained, rather than pay for a raffle or t-shirt that they've done many times before.
Events are a big money maker for your industry. Hospitality for your guests and your booked events is the main goal. If that experience is positive and you offer a service people want, your return on investment is golden. We've talked to a few hotel experts that need staging equipment. They're biggest concern are the configurations for their events. They need enough surface area for staging to accommodate the performers.
We've found out through our customers that there are many different uses for Seated Choir and Band Risers. The title implies that it's for choir and bands...and you're right. That is the primary use! Community choirs use the various levels to ensure that the audience can see all the performers - for those important performances throughout the year. School bands use the extended levels to rehearse and perform their pieces while sitting in their orchestra chairs.
I recently came across this list of the Most Beautiful Performance Spaces. I have to admit, I've only been to one of the venues listed - Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. It was beautiful when we toured it in the morning. You would think hardly anyone would be there, but there were people there - in workout clothes. Yes, we were there to worked out too, because those stairs are intense enough just walking up and down.
Your first thought when it comes to staging equipment may not be trade shows. They can be a hidden part of marketing and product selling to the general public. However, we know it's a major part of promotion for your product or service to gain exposure.
Entertainment ranges from the typical choir, band, and show choir performances for our most common performances. However, the need for portable staging equipment expands to dance competitions, talent shows, university events, and showcases. We'd love to show you how our equipment can help provide the backdrop to these events as you're considering new equipment or a replacement for old equipment.
The most common need will be portable staging as the pillar and event risers for added height. The staging has non-slip surfaces so you won't have to worry about the part of your event. The risers easily assemble underneath the stage decks. An added bonus is storage and accessibility for your production cords to provide maximum coverage for production needs.
Adjustable stairs, guardrails, and ADA ramps provide extra support and added accessibility to your events. We need to be more conscious of others and their safety. It provides more opportunity for others to share their talents and the community to be apart of it.
